Choosing a private hypnobirthing course
Personal mind-body support for to prepare for your birth
While birth is somewhat un-plannable, there's a lot you can do to help make it more likely that you'll have a positive birth. By that, I mean one that you are able to feel calm and confident enough in yourself to make informed choices.
Over the past 17 years of working as a doula, pregnancy yoga and antenatal teacher I've helped hundreds of women prepare to meet their babies. I have no agenda for births to be a particular way and am here to support you to have the best possible experience along the way.
If you are worries, anxious or struggling with past traumatic expeiences my approach to birth preparation can be especially helpful. Alongside the toolks of hypnobirthing I'm also a certified trauma coach with a somatic approach (including EFT), and we can explore tuning into your experience in different ways so that you and your birth partner build a toolkit for parenting that fits what you need.
I'm Emilie, a doula, coach and antenatal teacher and I'd love to help you prepare to meet your baby with embodied calm and confidence in your choices. Birth is kind of un-plannable, but gaining understanding of how your body works, how to find evidence based information and develeoping a set of tools that can help you at different stages of labour can be hugely beneficial.
Choosing a bespoke private hypnobirthing course with me means we can tailor the timings and content to cover exactly what you need.

WHEN SHOULD I START?
Most people choose to start once they're into their second trimester of pregnancy. There are no fixed rules for this, you may want to start sooner and practice the tools to reduce stress there's no need for this to be squished into the end of your pregnancy..
If you're already getting close to your due date and find that self hypnosis is something you really want to explore, it will still be a helpful tool to prepare for yout birth and postpartum even if you don't have as much time to practice. Even a few weeks of pracice can make a huge difference.
WHEN ARE YOU AVAILABLE?
Feel free to message me if you have limited availability, I'm happy to check my diary for you. I normally have 2 weekday evenings and a weekend a month set aside for private clients.
